Co-Owners Won't Sell? Here's How to Close the Deal

When co-owners clash: The REALTORS® guide to partition actions

Every agent has hit this wall: two people own a property together, one wants to sell, the other won't budge. Without a clear path forward, the deal dies, and the client walks away, and most agents don't even know there's a legal fix.

That's the gap Attorney Elijah Underwood is here to close. In "How to Sell Houses When Co-Owners Disagree," he'll break down exactly how partition lawsuits work, the process that forces a sale when co-owners can't agree. Common scenarios include:

  • An ex-boyfriend or girlfriend wants a buyout, and the other party refuses.
  • Business partners who co-own property after the partnership sours.
  • Siblings who inherit a house and can't agree on selling.

This is a largely untapped niche. Agents who understand this process can turn disputes that other agents walk away from into closed transactions.

Class Testimonial:
'In my entire career, I have probably turned away more clients than I can count because I did not have the
education that Eli is offering. This is a tool that every Realtor® needs. On top of that, it was easy to understand and fun! Everyone in the room not only learned something new but also laughed. Eli is a great presenter!'
