What is the ideal profile of an Officer or Director?

• An experienced agent or broker manager who will represent PSAR's members.
• Has specific skills that will help our organization be more relevant in today's marketplace
• A desire to “give back” to the REALTOR® community 
• Has the ability to guide others in developing their leadership capabilities
• A community volunteer who inspires others to contribute their time as well
• A strong belief in PSAR and the willingness to contribute to its greater success

As a PSAR director, you will have the opportunity to work with influential and highly capable industry and community leaders. Board members are the face of the organization and are industry leaders as well.  Our Board members expand their network, grow in professional stature, and influence initiatives that empower REALTORS®.  Join an elite team of real estate leaders and be a difference-maker in your Association.

Program Content & Session Dates

Attendance Policy: To graduate from the PSAR Leadership Academy you must attend all sessions. A single absence will result in forfeiting your spot in, and graduation from,  the program.

NOTE: Applications are accepted through February 14.

• March 11: 5 pm - 7 pm: Hosted Ice Breaker Evening Reception. Offsite Restaurant 

• March 12: 10 am - 1 pm: Orientation & Kick-Off. (Hosted Lunch, Clairemont Office)

• April 9: 10 am - 1 pm:  Governance & Academy Service Project (Hosted Lunch, Clairemont Office)

• April 29:  May 1: Attend Legislative Day in Sacramento (Flight, Hotel, & Some Meals hosted by PSAR)

• May 23: 8:30 am - 10:30 am: Attend PSAR's Board of Directors Meeting (Hosted Lunch Chula Vista)

• June 11: 10 am  - 1 pm: Consistency & Commitment to Service (Hosted Lunch Clairemont, Office)

• August 13: 10 am - 1 pm: Closing & Strategic Leadership (Hosted Lunch, Clairemont Office)

• November 7: 5 pm - 10 pm: Graduation at Installation Dinner Event, Ticketed Event (Prado)
