CSA San Diego County is a non-profit organization that eradicates fair housing discrimination by enforcing Fair Housing regulations. Through the Fair Housing Initiatives Program (FHIP), CSA also assists clients who have grounds to believe they are victims of housing discrimination by conducting investigations of these claims. Rick has been the Broker of Record for two large real estate brokerages with offices in San Diego County, Palm Desert, and Orange County. For those who oversee renovations, repairs, or painting in pre-1978 housing, obtaining certification in lead-safe practices under the EPA's Lead Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule is essential.

Lead exposure, particularly for children, can have serious health consequences. This certification class provides training on using lead-safe practices during renovations to prevent lead poisoning from dust, paint chips, or contaminated soil. Thorough knowledge of the RPR rule will enable renovators to protect tenants and prevent businesses from incurring penalties of up to $37,500 per daily violation.
