The Residential Purchase Agreement (RPA) is the backbone of every California real estate transaction. Yet at 17 pages plus 9 supplemental forms, it can easily overwhelm both agents and clients. Mistakes in the execution of this core transaction form will not only create confusion but will delay closings and potentially open the door to Realtor and client liability.
Expert educator Mike Shenkman breaks down the June 2025 RPA updates and shows you how to:
- Correctly interpret the new provisions
- Clearly communicate the agreement’s terms to clients
- Avoid common errors that derail transactions
