its members, the real estate industry, policymakers, and in the local and national media.

Jordan has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Master’s degree with Merit in International Economics from the University of Sussex. Prior to joining C.A.R., Jordan worked in consulting as an economist and director of economic research where he oversaw all research and economic analysis on California’s economy and housing market and regularly spoke to trade groups, public officials, businesses, and the media.

Part 1. Attend Legislative Day!  Learn about hot issues from CAR's President Otto Catrina from 9 am to 10 am.

This registration also grants you access to other informational sessions hosted by CAR, but after the Issue Briefing ends at 10 am, plan to attend the meetings with your legislators found in the links below. Legislative Day is only open to members of the California Association of Realtors.

Please note that these meetings with your state legislators are scheduled as webinars where registrants will not have video or audio capabilities during the meeting, however, everyone's names will appear on the participant list.  If you would like to participate as a panelist during the meeting so that you can help present CAR's key issues on homeownership, please email george@psar.org to express your interest.  You would be required to attend a meeting before Legislative Day in order to do so.  This preparation meeting will be on Monday, February 28th at 3 pm via zoom.  Click here to register for that meeting.

Gov Hutchinson is Assistant General Counsel of the CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (C.A.R.). He has been with C.A.R. since 1985 and manages C.A.R.’s Member Legal Services Program in Los Angeles. Gov. Hutchinson advises REALTORS® through the “Hotline” on all aspects of real estate law and trains and supervises other “Hotline” attorneys.

Hutchinson has written for CALIFORNIA REAL ESTATE magazine, co-authored C.A.R.’s continuing education courses, and is a master instructor for the Education Division of C.A.R., with certification from the Department of Real Estate.
